Mới đây, một bạn trẻ Nhật Bản đã đăng tải những bức hình thể hiện lại quá trình thực hiện bộ cosplay cánh tay máy huyền thoại của Edward trong bộ truyện tranh Fullmetal Alchemist. Theo chia sẻ của bạn trẻ này, nguyên liệu được sử dụng để làm cánh tay máy này là các tấm nhựa dẻo PH9 polyurethane để làm khung, các tấm Larissa để bọc bên ngoài.

Bước 1: vẽ phác thảo ra bìa các mảnh của bộ giáp theo hình dưới đây và cắt các tấm nhựa dẻo PH9 polyurethane theo đúng như các miếng bìa đã cắt.
Bước 2: Uốn cong lại các phần của ngón tay và dan chúng lại thành từng phần.
Bước 3: sử dụng các tấm Larissa bọc bên ngoài để tạo độ bóng, trơn ở các cạnh, tạo cảm giác giống kim loại
Bước 4: đính các đinh mũ lên bàn tay
Bước 5: Tiếp tục làm với phần cánh tay theo như các phần dưới đây.
Bước 6: Lồng vào trong các phần của giáp tay một găng tay vải để gắn các bộ phận rời và dễ dàng hơn cho việc mặc sau này.
Bước 7: Bọc Larissa cho các phần còn lại của cánh tay, chuẩn bị để ghép nốt các phần lại với nhau.
Bước 8: Ghép lại các phần bằng đinh mũ để tạo sư cứng cáp cho cánh tay máy.
