Người dùng Facebook sẽ có thêm lựa chọn về quyền riêng tư.

Mạng xã hội Facebook đang thử nghiệm chức năng cho phép lọc danh sách bạn bè trong mục News feed cho phép người dùng dễ dàng phân loại bạn bè.

News feed sẽ được chia ra thành các danh sách, khá giống với Circle của Google+. Bộ lọc feed (feed filter) giúp bạn xem các cập nhật từ một nhóm bạn đồng thời chia sẻ nội dung với riêng nhóm này.
 
Một chức năng thú vị nữa là smart list (danh sách thông minh) sẽ tự động phân loại thành danh sách như: bạn học, hàng xóm... Với những thay đổi này, Facebook muốn việc chia sẻ trên mạng xã hội của mình trở nên riêng tư hơn, giống như Google+ đã làm với Circle.
 
Trước đây, chức năng Friendlists của Facebook cũng cho phép chia sẻ nội dung theo nhóm, nhưng việc cài đặt phức tạp khiến chỉ có chưa tới 5% người dùng sử dụng nó.

Facebook giải thích nhóm bạn: người quen, bạn thân, những người hạn chế chia sẻ.
 
Facebook cho phép sắp xếp theo nhóm dễ dàng hơn, giống... Google+.
 
Đăng bài, và chọn nhóm bạn để chia sẻ dễ dàng.
 
Sắp xếp lại News feed.
