Thanos là nhân vật trung tâm của bom tấn Avengers: Infinity War, sẽ ra mắt khán giả thế giới ngày 27/4 tới đây. Trailer của phim cho biết hắn muốn tập hợp các viên Đá Vô cực để hoàn tất vũ khí Găng tay Vô cực, dùng nó để xóa sổ 50% sự sống trong vũ trụ.
Và câu chuyện nguồn gốc của Thanos sẽ được giải đáp kỹ lưỡng trong cuốn tiểu thuyết sắp ra mắt của tác giả Barry Lyga, mang tên Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War: Thanos - Titan Consumed. Cuốn sách sẽ lên kệ vào ngày 20/11 năm nay.
Trả lời phỏng vấn trang Gizmodo, tác giả Lyga tiết lộ Thanos mất rất nhiều thời gian và công sức để có thể sở hữu năng lực kiểm soát các viên Đá Vô cực. “Thanos sinh ra trên một hành tinh đối mặt với sự hủy diệt và bị chính người dân nơi đó xa lánh, tẩy chay vì hình dạng kỳ quái, sự thông minh thiên tài và cả những ý tưởng điên rồ của hắn”, ông Lyga mô tả.
Thanos là kẻ thù hùng mạnh nhất của nhóm siêu anh hùng Avengers.
Ông Lyga cho biết không muốn biến Thanos thành một kẻ đáng được thông cảm. Thay vào đó ông muốn lý giải động cơ của siêu ác nhân này. Cuốn sách sẽ nhấn mạnh rằng Thanos là kẻ địch hùng mạnh nhất của nhóm siêu anh hùng Avengers và Guardians of the Galaxy.
“Đó là kẻ thù mà những con người phi thường đó dù tập hợp với nhau nhưng vẫn không thể ngăn chặn”, cuốn sách khẳng định.
