Ngay cả những chiếc máy tính mạnh mẽ nhất thế giới cũng có thể bị đánh bại bởi Google Chrome.

Mac Pro là một trong những cỗ máy mạnh mẽ nhất trên thị trường hiện nay. Bên cạnh chip Intel Xeon 28 nhân, GPU Radeon Vega II Duo, SSD 8TB... thì dung lượng RAM cũng là một thứ khiến người ta "hoảng hốt". Người dùng có thể cấu hình Mac Pro với tối đa tới 1.5TB RAM, một con số không tưởng mà thậm chí còn cao hơn cả dung lượng ổ cứng của đa số người dùng.

Với việc đa số người dùng máy tính hiện tại vẫn đang "ổn thoả" với RAM 8GB hoặc 16GB, câu hỏi đặt ra là họ sẽ cần làm gì để dùng hết được lượng RAM gấp hàng trăm lần như vậy? Youtuber Jonathan Morisson đã quyết định thử thách chiếc Mac Pro với 1.5TB RAM của anh với ứng dụng nổi tiếng ngốn RAM: trình duyệt Google Chrome.

Mới dùng được 1/10 lượng RAM, vậy nên Jonathan tiếp tục mở thêm 1000 tab nữa. Lúc này, Chrome chiếm 170GB RAM.

Thêm 1000 tab nữa, lúc này Chrome bắt đầu gặp vấn đề. Trình duyệt này bị treo và chiếm toàn bộ tài nguyên của hệ thống. Không chỉ dùng hết 28 nhân của con chip Intel Xeon, Google Chrome còn ngốn sạch 1.4TB RAM!!!!
