Hãng sản xuất chip xử lý Intel vừa ra mắt một mẫu thiết kế tham khảo cho chiếc tablet Studybook phục vụ cho mục đích giáo dục.

Hãng sản xuất chip xử lý Intel vừa ra mắt một mẫu thiết kế tham khảo cho chiếc tablet Studybook phục vụ cho mục đích giáo dục. Sản phẩm mẫu của Intel sẽ được tùy chọn chạy HĐH Windows 7 hoặc Android 3.0 Honeycomb và được trang bị một số phần mềm đặc biệt dành cho việc dạy học. 

Chiếc tablet này có màn hình 7 inch độ phân giải 1024 x 600 pixel, vi xử lý Atom Z650, RAM tối thiểu 1 GB, có cả camera trước và sau, cổng đa năng bao gồm khe cắm microSD, khe cắm SIM, USB 2.0 và cổng HDMI. Máy được làm từ chất liệu nhựa và nặng 544 gram và có khả năng chịu đựng va đập khi rơi từ độ cao từ 0,6 đến 0,9 mét. 


Studybook sẽ được trang bị một số phần mềm dành cho mục đích giáo dục như Kno e-reader, bộ phần mềm khoa học LabCam. Intel cho biết nếu các đối tác phần cứng sử dụng thiết kế của mình để sản xuất, giá tablet này có thể chỉ 200 USD hoặc ít hơn. Tuy nhiên, thời điểm lên kệ của sản phẩm này chưa được công bố.

Đây là một trong những sản phẩm mới nhất trong chuỗi sản phẩm mà Intel giới thiệu cho mục đích giáo dục. Công ty này từng giới thiệu mẫu PC Classmate Convertible - model máy tính giá rẻ cho học sinh - sinh viên và phổ biến sản phẩm này cho 7 triệu sinh viên trên thế giới.
