Intel vừa xuất xưởng 4 chip Celeron mới cho các laptop giá rẻ và nhắm tới người dùng là sinh viên trong mùa tựu trường.

2 model Celeron 877 và 847 lõi kép mới, sản xuất trên kiến trúc Sandy Bridge, là một phần trong dòng vi xử lý dùng cho laptop giá rẻ 200 USD đến 500 USD xuất hiện tại mùa mua sắm năm ngoái. Model 877 được cho là sẽ giúp nhà sản xuất cắt giảm chi phí nhưng vẫn tăng hiệu năng cho sản phẩm.

Các chip Celeron mới có đồ họa tích hợp và hỗ trợ công nghệ ảo hóa. Tuy nhiên, chúng không được trang bị các tính năng cao cấp có trên series vi xử lý Core của Intel như Quick Sync và Turbo Boost.

Celeron 877 có xung nhịp 1,4 GHz được bán với giá 86 USD cho gói hàng 1000 đơn vị sản phẩm. Tốc độ này cao hơn cả chip Celeron có tốc độ cao nhất từ trước. Model 867 có mức xung 1,3 GHz và giá 134 USD.

Celeron 847 cho tốc độ 1,1 GHz có giá 70 USD cho gói hàng 1000 đơn vị.

Intel cũng bắt đầu xuất xưởng mẫu chip lõi kép Celeron M B820 tốc độ 1,7 GHz. Model này có giá 86 USD cho đơn hàng 1000 sản phẩm. Một phiên bản có mức xung cao hơn, Celeron M B830 (1,8 GHz) sẽ được xuất xưởng vào cuối quý này và giá hứa hẹn cao hơn B820.

Model đơn nhân B730 có tốc độ 1,8 GHz và có giá 70 USD cho đơn hàng 1000 sản phẩm.

Trong bảng tham khảo CPU, Intel cũng cung cấp chi tiết thông tin về các chip Pentium mới với xung nhịp từ 2,2 GHz đến 2,6 GHz và sẽ xuất xưởng vào quý này. Pentium G645 có tốc độ 2,5 GHz, G620 có tốc độ 2,6 GHz và G620T cho tốc độ 2,2 GHz. Giá các model này chưa được công bố.
