Không nằm ngoài cuộc đua nâng cấp máy mới mà các đối thủ như Sony, HP...đang tiến hành, Dell mới đây công bố nâng cấp lên chip xử lý Ivy Bridge cho dòng MTXT Latitude.

Không nằm ngoài cuộc đua nâng cấp máy mới mà các đối thủ như Sony, HP...đang tiến hành, Dell mới đây công bố nâng cấp lên chip xử lý Ivy Bridge cho dòng MTXT Latitude. Bên cạnh trang bị chip mạnh nhất cho máy, Dell còn cải thiện độ bền, bảo mật cho dòng laptop này. Một model còn cho thời lượng pin khủng tới hơn 32 tiếng sử dụng với pin gắn thêm.

Laptop Latitude dòng E-series sẽ có kích thước màn hình từ 12,5 inch đến 15,6 inch. Model có pin cho thời lượng 32,7 tiếng là chiếc Latitude E6430 (được trang bị pin 9 cell), dùng màn hình 14 inch và chip xử lý, tất nhiên là Ivy Bridge. Dell cho thấy nỗ lực tăng thời lượng sử dụng pin bằng cách trang bị cho máy các ổ quang có thể tháo rời và cho phép người dùng lắp pin ngoài vào vị trí đó. Latitude được nâng cấp còn được trang bị ổ SSD tiết kiệm điện hơn và hiệu năng cao hơn.

Ngoài mẫu E6430, công ty công bố E6230 (màn hình 12,5 inch), E6330 (13,3 inch), và E6530 (15,6 inch). Giá bán các sản phẩm này chưa được công bố. Trong số các laptop mới, chiếc E6430S cho chúng ta hình dung rõ hơn về các model máy tính mỏng nhẹ trong tương lai của Dell. Máy có kích thước màn hình 14 inch, có tính di động cao nhưng được trang bị các tính năng bảo mật mạnh mẽ và nhiều tính năng quản lý từ xa. Công ty Mỹ cũng ra mắt chiếc Latitude E6430 ATG nổi bật với độ bền cao, cổng USB 3.0, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth.
