Chúng ta đã từng chứng kiến sự ra đời của hàng loạt ứng dụng thú vị, biến iPhone trở thành chiếc điện thoại thú vị nhất. Tuy nhiên, với công nghệ mới NFC mà Google tích hợp vào Nexus S, họ hứa hẹn sự giao tiếp trong tương lai sẽ còn tiến bộ hơn rất nhiều so với bây giờ. Và Lockitron là một trong những ví dụ minh chứng cho lời nói đó.
 

Thông qua công nghệ NFC của Nexus S hay iPhone, bạn có thể mở cửa nhà từ xa, thông qua một ứng dụng nền web và phần cứng. Người dùng sẽ bất khoảng 295 - 500 USD cho phí dịch vụ.
 
Lockitron sẽ ghi nhận và phát ra tín hiệu từ điện thoại đến server và bộ nhận được gắn vào modem Internet trong nhà bạn; từ đó, "ra lệnh" cho cửa mở hoặc khóa lại tùy theo người dùng muốn gì.
 
 
Ngoài ra, nếu sở hữu chiếc Nexus S, bạn có thể thực hiện thao tác này đơn giản như vẫy chú dế yêu qua nơi gắn chip NFC khi đang mở ứng dụng nền Android.
