Xuất hiện trong sự kiện State of Play 2024 của Sony, tựa game Stellar Blade ngay lập tức nhận được sự chú ý của cộng đồng game thủ. Bên cạnh nội dung hấp dẫn, gameplay cuốn hút, Stellar Blade còn để lại ấn tượng sâu sắc với tạo hình nóng bỏng của nữ nhân vật chính - Eve.
Theo tiết lộ từ ông Kim Hyung Tae - giám đốc phụ trách trò chơi, Eve được xây dựng theo nguyên mẫu từ KOL nổi tiếng xứ Hàn - Shin Jae-eun. Thay vì xây dựng mô hình của nhân vật chính từ đầu, nhà phát triển Shift Up đã sử dụng bản quét kỹ thuật số 3D đầy đủ của người mẫu Hàn Quốc, Shin Jae-eun.
Công nghệ sử dụng quét kỹ thuật số người thật hiện đang ngày càng trở nên phổ biến trong các trò chơi điện tử AAA. Lấy ví dụ như trong bom tấn Yakuza: Like a Dragon, nhà phát triển cũng sử dụng công nghệ tương tự để chuyển hóa hình ảnh các diễn viên ngoài đời thực vào các bản quét kỹ thuật số trong trò chơi. Quay trở lại với Stellar Blade, người hâm mộ đã ca ngợi độ chân thực của Eve rất giống Shin Jae-eun, đây là minh chứng cho tính hiệu quả của công nghệ này.
