Về cơ bản khi chơi game, người khác chỉ nghĩ đến việc những game thủ ngồi lỳ trước màn hình máy tính, theo dõi những hình ảnh diễn ra trên màn hình. Thế nhưng kỳ thực khi chơi game, tay và mắt của mỗi game thủ đều di chuyển rất nhanh để phản ứng lại những diễn biến trong game. Và trong đó, mới đây anh chàng YouTuber Jon Matthis đã làm hẳn một bộ công cụ để theo dõi chuyển động mắt của người chơi trong quá trình chiến game Overwatch. "Chuyển động của mắt là trung tâm của toàn bộ phản xạ của con người khi chơi game, vì thế công cụ theo dõi vị trí võng mạc là thứ vô cùng hữu ích để nghiên cứu hành vi của người chơi game đối với các nhà khoa học."
Trong đoạn clip, chúng ta có thể thấy đôi mắt của Matthis di chuyển liên tục trên màn hình, nhưng hầu hết đều đặt ở chính giữa màn hình. Trong khi đó những chi tiết HUD ở góc màn hình như thanh máu hay menu kỹ năng cũng được quan sát rất thường xuyên.
