Samsung đã chính thức tạo 2 bản ROM cho Galaxy S II dựa trên Android 4.0.1 và 4.0.3. Giờ đây 2 bản ROM này đã bị rò rỉ trên mạng.

Samsung đã chính thức tạo 2 bản ROM cho Galaxy S II dựa trên Android 4.0.1 và 4.0.3. Giờ đây 2 bản ROM này đã bị rò rỉ trên mạng. 2 bản ROM này đều có giao diện TouchWiz của Samsung, giảm bớt độ hao pin và được người dùng cho phản hồi khá tích cực. Bạn có thể tải về và cài đặt 2 bản ROM này theo các bước sau (Chỉ Galaxy S II bản quốc tế mới cài được).
 
1. Truy cập www.SamMobile.com/firmware chọn Firmwares > Smartphones > Android > I9100 > Europe > DOWNLOAD to I9100XXKP4 (Android 4.0.1) và DOWNLOAD to I9100XXKP8 (Android 4.0.3). Mật khẩu của firmware là samfirmware.com.
 
2. Sao lưu lại dữ liệu.
 
3. Chạy ứng dụng ODIN.
 
4. Tắt máy.
 
5. Bật máy và ấn Volume Up + Home + Power khi máy đang khởi động để vào chế độ Download.
 
6. Kết nối với máy tính qua cáp USB và ODIN sẽ nhận ra máy.
 
7. Chọn PDA, chọn tập tin đã giải nén 9100_CODE_I9100XXKP8_CL42141_REV02_user_low_ship.t ar.md5 (KP4 với Android 4.0.1).
 
8. Chọn PHONE, chọn MODEM_I9100XXKP8_REV_02_CL1092599.tar.md5.
 
9. Chọn CSC, chọn GT-I9100-MULTI-CSC-OXAKP8.tar.md5.
 
10. Nhấn Start và ODIN sẽ bắt đầu flash ROM. Khi máy khởi động lại thì rút dây cáp USB. Và bạn đã có Android ICS trên Galaxy S II.
