Rất có thể Apple sẽ sử dụng loại hợp kim dẻo làm mặt sau cho mẫu smartphone mới nhất của hãng.

Từ trước đến nay Apple ít khi sử dụng kim loại lỏng trong các sản phẩm của mình, nó chỉ dành để sản xuất dụng cụ mở khay đựng sim cho iPhone và iPad. Nhưng mới đây Liquidmetal, một nhà sản xuất vật liệu lớn đã công bố rằng thỏa thuận độc quyền giữa họ và Apple đã được ký kết thêm hai năm nữa.
 
 
Thỏa thuận này cho phép Apple độc quyền sử dụng kim loại lỏng để sản xuất các sản phẩm điện tử tiêu dùng (loại vật liệu này cũng được sử dụng trong nhiều thiết bị thể thao). Hợp đồng ban đầu đã kết thúc vào ngày 5-2-2012, nhưng giờ đã được mở rộng cho đến 5-2-2014.
 
 
Với rò rỉ từ mẫu thiết kế mặt lưng bằng kim loại trên iPhone 5 sắp tới, thì với việc đạt được thỏa thuận trên, rất có thể Apple sẽ sử dụng loại hợp kim dẻo này làm mặt sau cho mẫu smartphone mới nhất của hãng. Đây thực sự là một điều rất thú vị, tuy nhiên, chúng ta vẫn phải chờ cho tới khi CEO Tim Cook chính thức thông báo về sự ra mắt của iPhone 5.
